UART

IDS are pleased to introduce a cost effective solution for TFT systems that use a low end micro – our very own UART. Through this UART, even a regular 8051 can control TFT displays up to 800 x 600 dots , 65K colors.

• It uses serial communication protocol. You only have to program simple instructions and data to output animations, fonts and graphics, etc. It has short development cycle and low demand for developers. It can also be easily upgraded. Hence, you don’t have to worry about the readjusting LCD driver and focus on developing many products simultaneously.
• The core voltage is 3.3V for M600 and M100. It is fully packaged for high electrical, military or industrial demands.
• 32 to 128 MB (Expandable to 1GB) built-in flash memory for storages of images and fonts.
• Provides low cost solutions to the users: Supports serial multi-screen display terminals and drives TFT module. Effectively reduces the development costs at customer ends.

1. Supports almost all digital TFT displays , from 1.3” to 15”, in the market.
2. Fully developed and stable driver. It helps to reduce risks in product development, human resource and product upgrade. It guarantees users to quickly gain market shares.
3. Displays 65K colors. However, it can digitally simulate 24-bit color performance.
