MECS™ (Modular Embedded Computer System) is a modular, configurable embedded computer that provides a powerful, yet highly efficient platform for constructing customised embedded systems. Using the latest XScale™ RISC microcontrollers and Windows CE™ operating system, it provides a cost effective embedded platform with high reliability and short boot times.
The modular architecture that is intrinsic to MECS allows it to be flexible and configurable, making it suitable for use in a wide variety of applications. Maximum product longevity can be reached as the platform is fully upgradeable through the use of a range of CPU modules and xPOD™ m hardware plug-ins.

Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED)
Displays deliver benefits that contemporary display technologies struggle to offer – bright, clear images , fast response time and very small form factor.
IDS supplies one of the broadest ranges of ‘off the shelf ’ OLED sizes and colours. The range currently extends from 96 x 16 0.8” diagonal to 256 x 64 3.2” diagonal monochrome displays, with various Full Colour options also available.
Osram OLED Obsolescence - As IDS was the largest supplier of Osram OLED products in Europe we have spent a lot of time assessing alternative ranges and we are now able to offer equivalent displays. Please contact us for immediate assistance to replace your existing Osram OLED.
